I am a wonderfully amazing girl, older then five but younger than thirty. I have brown hair and brown eyes, and it's been that way since I was born. I am 5ft. 9in. and not even the tallest person I know.
I have two older brothers, three younger sisters, two parents, and a dumpy dog (Other wise known as Pickle Jones the Wonder dog). One of my brothers is serving a mission in the Dominican Republic and the other is at BYU. The rest of my family and I live in the US of A in a house that is absolutely perfect in my eyes.
I love to read and learn more about random things in our daily life. I also participate in: TV/movie watching, basketball, singing, writing a Fateful Fairytale with Spork Child, listening to music, and many other things I love!
The Hunger games is coming out a week after my 16 birthday. So my mom was said, "You could go on a Hunger Games group date!" And I loved the idea, but I don't want to ask someone for my first date!!! Stupid boys. Why?
I have just gotten the third book in the Sisters Grimm series. And as a few of you know I have been wanting to read that book for a LONG time. It's pretty good, of course I'm only on chapter three or four. But I've put so much time into it already I can't not like it anymore.
I just got my drivers permit today and am terrified that I don't get to sit back and do nothing while my mom drives me places. I mean I am SO bad at driving... but this is only the first day I've had it so... we'll see :).
Early morning seminary started for me on Monday, and I didn't know how much I missed it! After that first day, sure I was tired, but I couldn't wait until the next day! It was the perfect dose of spiritual goodness.
I have been trying my best to do everything to the best of my abilities.
And that's my life simplified :)

All of you know how blogger can be. You know the whole, I can't comment on ANYTHING! Well it use to not effect me, but now I can't even comment on my own blog! What the DIP!

And lastly my two good friends, Sammy and Sarah Knott, haven't been on their blogs in a long time so I haven't been in contact with them. Here is a letter to them.
To my delightful friends Sammy and Sarah Knott,
I haven't heard from you in a LONG TIME! And it's troubling. Where are you? Why haven't you spoken to me in forever?! I would like to say that I miss you, and would like to have a conversation with you some time.
Love
Meggie,

Chapter 9: The Shadow Pirates part 2
The heroes crept up and down the ship in search of an escape. When they found a little step-stool going up to the main deck.
“Up we go!” cried Mother Fork as she and Spork Child climbed the steps to see if the coast was clear. When they got to the top, a gun was shot! BANG! Mother Fork and Spork Child hit the floor. There was another shot and another and then some quiet mumbling… then the gun fire started up again. Mother Fork looked up to see that they were in Captain Shadow’s mother’s room. Old Mrs. Shadow was fast asleep on her bed, snoring so loudly it sounded like gunfire.
They both let out a silent sigh of relief and told Lizzy that the coast was clear and to come on up.
“Okay,” Spork Child asked. “Now what?”
Mother Fork had to do some quick thinking and then she looked around the room for inspiration. There were pirate clothes hanging all around them, a mysterious boiling pot in the corner of the room and pirate swords everywhere! Also the same poster they saw in Dragon-Wagon’s closet was hanging above her bed. “I guess we know who they are working for now,” Mother Fork thought to herself. Then she had an idea.
She picked up a pirate shirt and tossed it to Elizabeth, then she put one on herself.
“Um, Mother Fork…”
“Here put this on.” She passed Spork Child one of Mrs. Shadow’s lacey night gowns.
Then Sporky realized what Mother Fork’s plan was. “No way! I am not being the old lady again!”
“This is plan number 56. You have to!” They both shared a silent stare-down and then Spork Child grabbed the gown out of Mother Fork’s hands.
“Fine… but I’m not going to like it!”
They all dressed so that they would blend in with the crowd, but when they peeked up around the deck, no one was there. “Maybe they’re all asleep?” Mother Fork suggested while she watched the sun rise. Then the three quietly stepped onto the deck and Spork Child, half carrying/half guiding poor Elizabeth, heard whimpering from one side of the deck. It was Pickle. He had been tied up next to the ship.
Mother Fork took out her birthday gift. It was a small glass bottle that was tied around her neck. She pulled out the stopper and whispered into the bottle saying, “It‘s time to deliver my present, old friend.” Then she threw the bottle into the ocean. “Okay, Spork Child, go down there and untie Pickle,” Mother Fork said while throwing a rope over the edge. “We’ll…” then she looked at the sobbing Elizabeth, “I mean, I’LL lower you down.”
“No way! I’m already the old woman! Why do I have to do all the hard stuff?” Spork Child protested.
“Because I think it would look a little weird to see some old lady lower a fully-grown pirate down the side of a ship.”
“Oh, and you don’t think it would look weird the other way around? Besides, you were the one that got us stuck here in the first place.”
“Um, guys…” Elizabeth tried to warn the two to keep their voices down, but Mother Fork and Spork Child were already shouting.
“So it’s MY fault that we’re on this ship?” Mother Fork yelled at her daughter.
“Yes! You were the look out!” Spork Child countered.
“Um, hello…” Lizzy tried again, with no luck.
“Just do what you’re told and get down there!” Mother Fork said again really loudly.
“NO!”
“So!” The girls all whipped around to see that Captain Shadow and a band of ugly pirates were standing only ten feet in front of them. “You thought you could escape again? Well, that is not goin’ to happen.” Then he started this big monologue of how he was now going to toss the three into the ocean to never be heard from again.
“Great job Sporky, if you had just gone down there we would be half way to Mexico by now.” Mother Fork crossed her arms and tuned her head in a huff.
“Me? If it wasn’t for you…”
“Stop it both of you!” Elizabeth chimed in. “Mother Fork, you said you have a gift you had received from you birthday last year?”
“Don’t worry it should be working.”
“…Now you will be shark food! All hail Death!” Then the pirates began to move forward, charging the three. Mother Fork started to second guess herself. What if it doesn’t work? She thought. The pirates were three feet away. What if he’s not home?Captain Shadow only had enough time to slice Spork Child bangs in half. When a knife came flying out of no where and landed right on top of the captain making him disappear in a poof of smoke.
“MY BANGS!” Spork Child gasped.
The crew was dumb founded at the knife that had made their leader vanish in thin air. But Mother Fork knew what that knife meant, because it was made from celestial bronze.
A wave the size of five mini vans stacked up on top of each other had just popped up behind Mother Fork. Two people were riding the wave and one was completely dry. “Hey Mother Fork, got your message! Just in time too,” Percy Jackson said from the top of the wave, with Grover standing right behind him. Annabeth took off her cap of invisibility and grabbed her knife from out of the ashes of the shadow pirate.
“Any body else want some?!” Grover said while he hopped off the wave. And all of the pirates raised their swords and charged all of the kids.
“We can take the shadow pirates. You guys get out of here!” Annabeth put her cap back on and disappeared
Mother Fork and Spork Child hopped on to the hopelessly tied up Pickle and then realized that Elizabeth was still on the deck.
“Lizzy, let’s go!” Mother Fork shouted up.
“I’m not much help with out Mr. Darcy. You two go on without me and find him and Jane, I will stay here and help these heroes fight.” Mother Fork and Spork Child didn’t protest the idea.
“We can’t untie Pickle so it wont even matter if you do stay if we can’t go.” Spork Child said
while tugging on the ropes that bound Pickle.
“I got this!” A shout came from the deck that sounded like Percy. Just then I huge wave came and swept Mother Fork, Spork Child and Pickle Jones far away from the pirate ship.
When they reached land, they found out that they were in the gulf of Mexico while on the ship, which could only mean that the beach they were on was in Mexico.
“You little ladies okay?” A voice called out to them from their left. It was a man who was ridding on the duck tape elephant. And the man could only be one person.
Mother Fork, feeling much happier then at the beginning of this chapter, stood up and dusted the sand off her pirate pants. “Yeah we’re fine, Chuck Norris.”
“Up we go!” cried Mother Fork as she and Spork Child climbed the steps to see if the coast was clear. When they got to the top, a gun was shot! BANG! Mother Fork and Spork Child hit the floor. Cold?
Today was the first day that the weather was below 100 degrees in over a month! HOOOO-RAY! We were this close to break the record of the hottest summers EVER! But I went outside to get the mail and the air felt cooler then usual. So when I got back inside to check the thermometer it said 80 DEGREES! I think I'm going to cry :)
I had so many things planned for this heat! I wanted to fry an egg on the side walk and bake cookies in the car! But this is a good thing I guess. It just couldn't have lasted two more days so Texas could beet the record!
I never thought I'd miss 80 degree weather. I have. And I am never going to complain about it AGAIN.
