I'm Full Now

Oh. My. GOODNESS!

I saw the Hunger Games last night and I was prepared for it to completely stink on ice, but I was proven wrong.  It was AMAZING!
(Shirt I made for Movie: Team Peeta)

Hollywood did something right for once.  Which is kinda surprising.
The pace of the movie was fast, but it had to be.  They fit all of the good parts in and stuck to the story so well.  The graphics were great, acting was pretty good, action was every five seconds and was to be expected.
And the love triangle! :D  I mean, I can't be the only one freaking out about this stuff!

All of this makes me want to see the next one.

No longer am I hungry for the replacement of Harry Potter.  Of course Harry P. will always have a special place in my heart, but now I can start obsessing about something else.

The Break in Spring

Spring break might have been last week, BUT that doesn't mean I can't talk about it still!

On Monday it was my 16th birthday!  In the morning my buddies kidnapped me and we all went to IHOP and had a Delicious pancake breakfast.  After that we went to a very muddy park and we played with side walk chalk.  We should have seen the masterpieces we made(It was a giant battle scene made with outlines of our shadows :)  It was a wonderful day!

A few days later my friends and I watched the movie Tangled and made cookies.  I could quote the whole movie it was awesome!

Then on Thursday, Friday and Saturday I had TREK!  Yep, I dressed as a pioneer, pulled a handcart, sang songs and made friends... you know... the normal day stuff.  Minus the pioneer outfit and pulling a hand cart.

I didn't know anyone in my family, but that didn't matter much.  We were all good friends by the end of trek.  (We're having a family reunion this Sunday)

On trek the stake leaders gave everyone a baby to take care of.  My family's was a little girl named Louisa; we nicknamed her Lulu.  I carried her most of the time.  Because the leaders told us to take care of the baby like a real one (it was a doll) and I LOVE babies!  So when she died on the last day I was sad... not like rolling on the ground "WHY? WHY HER?!" kind of stuff, but, "Oh... that stinks."

There was also a woman's pull!  My sisters, ma and I were in the front of the company today since on the first day we were the last family.  It was awesome.  We had to go through a very grassy path which wasn't to bad. But then we had to go up a steep/long hill.  I was pushing at the back and it was so hard!  Soon it was over though and we waited for all of the other women to come up the hill before we could walk again.  There was a cart behind us that REALLY wanted to be in front so they were running to try and pass us and for a little while they did.  That is until the men came back!  It was awesome they came and joined us and we were all running at full speed with our number one finger in the air.  'Cause, you know, we were number one. :)

The rest of trek was awesome and I sure hope the friends I have made stay that way.

Happy Birthday guys!

2012

Happy 2012 everybody! I have very high hopes for this year... it being the last year in history and all.

Let us all take this fine moment to remember the good times of last year.
In January of last year my family moved into my new ward. I was worried about it at first, for everyone in the stake was saying how it was known for having snotty kids. But it turned out to be the best ward that we went to! I have lots of friends that I just L-O-V-E!

In February the youth in my ward all walked to the temple. 20 miles of walking, singing, traffic and laughing. When I saw the Dallas temple I was so happy! I went and laid on the grass and just felt good. The youth went inside and listened to the temple president speak. Sadly though all I heard was the pain in my feet. :)

March was the month of my 15th birthday. Which was fabulous! I also got the stomach flew that month (if any of you remember that story :P), finished reading the Percy Jackson series and started the Sisters Grimm books.

April was braces... nuff said.

In May I got my patriarchal blessing! I love that thing to bits! It was also when the world was to end. I don't really remember what this guy was saying, but he said that on the 21st of may the world was going to end. And... well... it didn't.

June was girls camp and Jubilee! Two things I will never forget from last year!

July was the end of the Harry Potter movies. How sad is that? I saw it at mid-night with a friend of mine. After the movies I didn't know what to do with my life until...

August! Where we dropped Jason off a BYU-Idaho! I saw relatives that I haven't see since I was five and I visited with friends that I love and just had a good time. While I was there I also missed a lot of the 105 degree weather down here in TX. I started driving too.

Nothing happened in September... except Katie's birthday.

I got my Young Women hood recognition award in November! I wear the necklace all the time and I love it! My family and friends and I celebrated 11/11/2011 that month by having a great big party.

DECEMBER! Christmas of course happened and I was in a Christmas parade. It wasn't as fun as it sounds though. Then there was a New Years Eve party and we celebrated new year three times. One for China, one for Mexico and lastly the real deal.

Happy New Year! I hope all your wishes come true!
