Lists of Things I Love

I have a list I am going to write right................................................NOW!
Characters that I love!  (There is no specific order)

Puck: Although quite annoying he is so great!

Peeta:  The simple sweetie has no
taste in women but he is full of adorable personality!

Anne of green Gables:  Best character EVER!
Gilbert Blythe: He was a bit of a jerk at first then came in touch with his sensitive side.(that picture wasn't in the movie or book, but it looks really good!)
Sam I Am: The wonderfully persistent little guy is a good friend and was in the first book I ever read on my own.
Tyson:  I love all the people in the Percy Jackson series but Tyson doesn't always get honored the way every one should honor him.  Speaking of honor...
Zuko:  Prince/Fire Lord of the fire nation.  His moodiness gives him a charming kind of personality.
Aang:  The fun loving Avatar bring joy and peace where ever he goes.  He should never have married Katara.
Winnie the Pooh Characters:  I love these stuffed animals with all my heart.  Even the ones that aren't in the picture.
And of course Mother Fork and Spork Child!  They are adventurous, brave, funny/goofy and magical.  These two utensils can do anything that can be imagined and they probably will :)!

The list could go on and on, I didn't even mention (besides Pooh bear) Disney characters!  But that will be another list for another time.

STORY TIME!

I am sitting on a chair doing nothing... issuing the perfect oportunity to write something slightly random and EXTREMELY dramatic!

“The President still has not re-least what this press conference is all about. But he said, and I quote, ‘It will be something for generations to remember.’ We will find out more about that next week when the press conference is premiered. Back to you Jerry,“ The reporter woman ended with a grin.

Allie Walker sat in the Cool Beans donut shop with her books scattered across three tables. She munched on a chocolate donut as she worked on a high C, not paying much attention to the report.

“Please, for the love of everything that is good and holy,” Bubu shouted in his Indian accent. “Stop making that horrible noise!” Bubu Shuku was born in India and moved to America trying to have a new start in live. He now owns Cool Beans Donut Palace and sells his infamous chili pepper donuts, that no one buys. Bubu is also not his name, but that was all anyone called him.

“You love it and you know it.” Allie flipped her light, brown, hair and nailed the high C. “HA! I did it!”

“Good job, Flash.” A voice called from the front door.

“Thanks for finally showing up an hour late, Charlie.” Allie said in a sarcastic tone.

“Any time. But you might not want to make Bubu mad. You know his pills usually wear out around this time of day.” A young man with brown hair and piercing blue eyes entered the shop, carrying a book bag over his shoulders.

“Ha ha. I am docking your pay for that statement, Charming.” Bubu pointed a spoon the boy’s way.

“That might scare me if I had any more pay to dock.” Charlie smiled and sat next to Allie. “And don’t call me Charming.”

“Why not? Ever since you came back from your mission you have been on the most wanted list for women,” Bubu went into the back carrying a three empty donut trays.

The TV on the wall was still playing the news. It was now talking about a raise in gas prices.

“Oh no. Please turn that off. If I wanted to sleep I’ll go back to Brother Yotung’s class.” Charlie was about to press the off button when a spoon came flying half way across the room and hit his hand.

“You touch that TV you are fired,” Bubu said with a menacing look.

Charlie slowly backed away from the T.V. as Allie struggled for breath from laughing. “Be quiet, princess.” Charlie spat at her.

“I’m sorry but that was the funniest thing I’ve seen all day.” Allie laughed.

“Really? I thought you had Brother Campsten?” That professor was know for being a funny guy in class.

“I do, but he was gone today and he let his wife fill in. Snooze. We basically talked about the up and coming press conference the President is having.” Allie rolled her eyes and pretended to hang herself. “Seriously, could I care less about anything else? It’s probably nothing though. Just something to ease our minds on rising taxes. But that is besides the point. Didn’t you say you would help me with this,” Allie held up a paper for him to see.

“Oh, yeah.” Charlie sighed. “Let’s get this over with.”

Charlie Jacks and Allie Walker had been best friends ever since they were ten. It all started when Charlie first moved into Allie’s ward.

He was a good enough kid and also extremely smart. But he was a boy, and Allie was in the ‘Boys have germs’ stage of life and had no interest in him. But that changed on the school playground.

Charlie was new in school, but everyone loved him. With an award winning smile, dazzling, blue, eyes, a brain the size of Texas and personality that would make Opera jealous, of course some of the other kids wouldn’t like him. But one stood out of the crowd. Rick Coalson was the coolest kid in the 5th grade and was not to be out matched by a nerd like Charlie.

Rick would be so cruel to Charlie, but no one knew. Charlie would be walking down the hall when Rick and his gang would take him by the arms and drag him into the bathroom until the bell rang. Charlie would come into class with a black eye or a bloody nose. Which didn’t interest the teacher at all, but made Allie very curious.

You see Allie saw that being a hard hitting reporter was her calling in life. She carried a camera everywhere she went, and tried her hardest to get the scoop on everything. It was that that made Charlie and Allie meet.

One Friday, Allie followed pour Charlie all day to see what was happening. He knew she was following him, but he didn’t mind so much. Because when a cute girl followed you every where something must be good.

He was walking to lunch when Rick, Big Ugly and Little Ugly (or Timmy Green and Sean Tathers. Rick‘s right hand men) took Charlie from behind and dragged him into the boys bathroom. Now Allie being a girl, didn’t want to go into the boys bathroom. But she was going to be a reporter and had to do what she had to do. She looked left and right, and once seeing no one was in the hallway, plunged into the boys bathroom.

She opened the door a crack and heard grunts and thuds.

“Why don’t you just leave the school?” Rick asked.

“I can’t,” Charlie grunted. “My mom paid for me to stay here.”

“Oh, so do you always do what mommy says?” Rick chuckled.

Charlie smiled “That, and your goons wont let go of my arms,”

Allie took a few steps into the tiled room, her camera at the ready. The boys where in the last and largest stall. Big Ugly and Little Ugly were holding Charlie to a wall while Rick hit him.

Allie was about to shout, but then remembered she was a hard hitting reporter. Get some pictures first, she thought to herself. She took two pictures before she blew her cover. “Hey Rick, could you move so I can get Little Ugly in the shot?”

Rick turned around surprised at a girl being in the bathroom. “What are you…?!”

“Smile!” Allie took another picture and ran.

Before Allie went out the door she heard Rick yell, “She has a camera! Get her!”

Allie needed to go to two places. The principles office and recess. She knew the teachers wouldn’t care or wouldn’t know what to do if they saw three boys chasing a little girl, so she went for help outside.

Many people knew that Allie was the youngest of six, but she was also the only girl. Her five older brothers loved her to bits and didn’t let anyone hurt her.

The oldest in her family was Conner. Next was Mike. Then there was Jake and John, the twins. And the closest in age with Allie was Chris. Together they were an unstoppable force of brotherly love.

Jake, John and Chris had recess together and Allie knew that she could count on them.

Allie ran out screaming. “Help! JAKE, JOHN, CHRIS, HELP!”

The boys were out playing basketball with their buddies, but Jake dropped the ball as soon as he heard Allie.

Big Ugly was the first one out, he was close on Allie’s heels, he was then followed by Rick. Big Ugly tackled Allie to the ground trying to get the camera. But he was only there for a second before John had tackled him. Rick was about to push him off when, flying out of no where, Chris punched him.

Jake helped Allie up. “What did you do?” He asked with amusement while watching Big ugly rolling on the ground from a bloody nose.

“They ganged up on Charlie Jacks in the bathroom. So I took pictures to show the principal. Thanks by the way.” Allie stood on her toes and tried to give Jake a kiss.

“Ew!” He pulled away. “What are you trying to do give me coodies?” Little ugly, gasping for air, then made the seen. He saw what was happening to his companions and ran as fast as his stubby legs would carry him.

“Oops, one’s getting away. See you at home Al,” Jake smiled and then started chasing the portly Little Ugly.
Before Allie went to the principal she found Charlie. He was sitting in the hallway with a bloody lip. “Come on, I need you.” She took his hand.

“For what?” He asked.

“I need more evedance of Rick’s wrong doings. He’s been nothing but a bully for a long time. And he needs to learn a lesson.”

Charlie smiled and started walking with Allie to the front desk. “Thanks for doing this.” he mumbled under his breath.

“It is my finest pleaser! I mean, I am going to be a reporter when I grow up so this is good practice.”

“The other girls would have never done that for me,”

“Yes, but I’m not like other girls.” Allie smile from ear to ear. As if she was proud of the statement. “You can always count on me, buddy!”

“Call me Charlie,” he stuck his hand out.

“Nice to meet you Charlie,” She took hold of his hand and shook it. “I’m Alexandra, but everyone calls me Allie,”

“Can I call you Flash miss reporter?”

Allie froze in her tracks, “That is the BEST nick name ANYONE has EVER given me! So, yes, you may.”

Once they reached the front desk, they showed the principal the pictures Allie took and the many broses Charlie had received from the hooligans from the past few weeks. “Goodness. Well then I suppose we should take care of this,” he then called Rick and the Uglies into his office.

Charlie and Allie were still in the office when they came in. As Rick passed Allie, she waved happily and a face of pure hatred swept across Rick’s brow.

Rick, Timmy and Sean were suspended for two weeks, and those two week were the most pleasant Charlie had had since he came to Idaho.

Allie and Charlie became good friends after that and soon it turned into a best friendship. Charlie still has a scar on his lip from that day and Allie has the picture of Rick’s surprised face in the boys bathroom, which still makes her laugh. Two little reminders of what they have as friends. And although Allie never became a hard hitting reporter Charlie still calls her Flash even twelve years later.

The next few months will test their friendship with trials unimaginable. But if they are strong the challenges will only increase the love they have for each other.
