Chapter 1: The Seven Story Window

Once upon a time in a land far, far away a depressed fourteen year old girl lay in a crumpled lump on the floor of her bedroom.  She liked to imagine all if the frivolity that her Tennessee friends were unleashing.

Fraoght with despair, she somehow managed to drag herself up to her windowsill.  She opened said window and shouted to the world, "Goodbye cruel Fate!" then she flung herself out.  As she was falling she thought she heard the voices of those who once cared for her.  But, alas, it was just her older brother getting after her for stealing his idea.

He swam through the air to beat her to the bottom, but the maiden was too quick for him.  She caught him by surprise with a round-house kick to the abdominal region which both sent him flying upward and herself flying downward.  Always the fierce competitor, he was not to be outdone.  He lit the fuse of his jetpack and rocketed past he.  But, wait!  Can it be?  Yes!  Our heroine grabbed onto his flowing leg hairs and managed to keep up with his deathly pace.

They stared fiercely at eachother and then broke into hilarious laughter.  At this very instant, they each deployed thier parachutes (which they never leave home without) and floated safely into their backyard, where the sad remains of their beloved snowman lay in seasonal rest.
